George is a retired Mechanical Engineer, Mathematician. Almost always a woodworker, he spent many years doing 'flat work'. About twenty years ago, he found the intriguing world of woodturning. He spent a week in West Virginia taking a turning class with the world renowned turner, Palmer Sharpless. Skills were continually sharpened [pun intended] over the years.
Local interest in woodturning was centered on the formation of the Lehigh Valley Woodturners of which George was a charter member and served as President for ten years. He also has been a member of the national group, the American Association of Woodturners for many years. George's work include bowls, bottle stoppers, pet urns, plates, hollow vessels, pepper mills and artistic pieces. His work has been displayed and sold at many local shows and exclusively at Kospia Farms
