I began practicing yoga 20 years ago and have been teaching since 2012. I had studied classical ballet and jazz most of my life and was interested in something to maintain my flexibility and strength - yoga was the perfect thing. Over the years, I have learned that there was much more to yoga than the physical practice. I found that, along with the physical benefits, yoga has a profound impact on my mind and spirit. The feeling of being grounded, centered and peaceful is what keeps me coming back to the mat. I completed my 500 hour training at YogaLife Institute in Devon, PA and I am currently completing the 850 hour Yoga Therapist Training Program.
As a teacher, I hope to bring my students the same feelings of peace, tranquility and serenity that I have found practicing yoga.
Yoga is the art and science of living in harmony with life. It balances the body, mind and spirit using physical movement and the breath to bring emotional stability and clarity of mind.
